Breakfast and depart for Samburu arriving at the campsite for game viewing, a chance to see lions, elephants, gerenuk, grevy’s zebra, onyx, the reticulated giraffe and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at the EWASO NYIRO CAMPSITE. [2 hrs]

Day Four – SAMBURU G. RESERVE

Early morning game drive, return to the campsite for breakfast, another morning game drive, return to the campsite for lunch. [An optional visit to a Samburu Village – extra cost] followed by an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the EWASO NYIRO CAMPSITE.

Day Five – MOUNT KENYA

Breakfast and break up the camp – depart Samburu with a game drive on the way out of the park, lunch at the Bantu campsite and there after proceed on for a nature walk to the Mau Mau Caves located deep inside Mount Kenya forest. Return to the campsite for dinner & overnight at the Bantu campsite. [drive takes 3 hours].

Day Six – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Depart after breakfast past the northern tip of the Aberdare Mountains to descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. [Picnic lunch en route]. Time permitting proceeds on for an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at a guesthouse or at the MAKALIA FALL’S CAMPSITE located inside the park. [4 Hrs]

Day Seven – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Another full day in Nakuru with morning and afternoon game drive, all meals & overnight at MAKALIA FALL’S CAMPSITE

Day Eight – MASAI MARA

Breakfast & depart for Masai Mara with picnic lunch en route – On arrival you will proceed on for an evening game drive, dinner & overnight at a campsite located near SEKENANI GATE. [5 hrs]

Day Nine – MASAI MARA

Another day in Masai Mara with full day game drives all meals and overnight at the SEKENANI GATE

Day Ten – MASAI MARA – NAIROBI

Early morning game drive, return to the campsite for breakfast, there after depart for Nairobi with picnic lunch to arrive between 3- 4 pm. [5 hrs]

Day One – NAIROBI – AMBOSELI

08H30. Depart Nairobi for Amboseli game reserve. Picnic lunch en route, on arrival, you proceed on for an afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day Two – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Early morning game drives, return for breakfast and proceed on for another morning game drive, lunch and an afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day Three – AMBOSELI – NAIROBI – MOUNT KENYA

Depart Amboseli for Mount Kenya Mt. Kenya past the coffee plantations. Picnic lunch en route. Time permitting, a nature walk into Mount Kenya Forest – Mau Mau Caves, dinner and overnight at the Bantu Lodge campsite.

Day Four – MOUNT KENYA-SAMBURU

Breakfast and depart for Samburu Game Reserve, lunch at the campsite followed by an afternoon game drive in search for lions, elephants, gerenuk, grevy’s zebra, onyx, the reticulated giraffe and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day Five – SAMBURU G. RESERVE

Early morning game drives, return to the campsite for breakfast, after breakfast another game drive, return for lunch at the campsite, siesta at the campsite followed by an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day Six – SAMBURU G. RESERVE – LAKE NAKURU

10 Days Amboseli

Day One – NAIROBI – SAMBURU :

Depart Nairobi in the morning passing through the rich agricultural farmland on the slopes of Mt. Kenya to the mainly dry scrubland and open Savannah plains of Samburu Game Reserve. Here the Ewaso Nyiro River supports a wide variety of games among them elephants buffalo cheetah leopard, lion grevy’s zebra reticulated giraffe, long necked gerenuk
and the Oryx. Set up tents dinner and overnight at the campsite. [Picnic lunch en route].

Day Two – SAMBURU GAME RESERVE :

Morning and afternoon game drives all meals at the campsite.

Day Three – SAMBURU – LAKE BARINGO :

Leaving Samburu in the early morning, we make a scenic drive to the west across the Lerochi Plateau, [lunch en route] and later descend to the floor of the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Baringo in the afternoon. This is a fresh water lake, which supports a great variety of birds as well as hippos and crocodiles. Indeed the lake is reputed to be the bird-watching center of Kenya.

Day Four – LAKE BARINGO -LAKE NAKURU :

Early in the morning we head south via Lake Bogoria, which is a shallow soda Lake with a beautiful scenery and also home to a sizable number of flamingos and other species of birds. The highlight however is the boiling hot springs and geyser, which also contributes to the beauty of the lake. After lunch we proceed to Lake. Nakuru in the South – another shallow soda lake that is described as an ornithologist paradise and one of the world’s most magnificent sights.
Here one has an opportunity to see up to two million flamingos besides tens of thousands of others birds if lucky. Lake. Nakuru is a rhino sanctuary and also harbors lions, warthog, waterbuck, buffalo, hippo and many other animals. Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse inside the park

Day Five – LAKE NAKURU – MARA :

We head further south to Narok, camping in our semi-permanent campsite on the Sekenani gate, which is at the edge of the park. Here we have walk-in tents with beds & mattresses. Showers are available in the camp and meals are served in the dinning mess.

Day Six & Seven – MASAI MARA :

From the base camp we explore the Mara region packed with the elephants, zebras, rhinos and all kinds of game throughout the year with the spectacular wildebeest migration from Serengeti occurring mainly in July and August. All meals at the campsite.

Day Eight – MASAI MARA – NAIROBI :

Early breakfast and proceed on a morning game drive. There after proceed to Narok where Masai souvenirs can be brought and then proceed to Nairobi. [Picnic lunch en route]

 

8 Days Samburu

Day One – NAIROBI –MOUNT KENYA

08H00. Pick up from hotel for a safari to Mount Kenya. Picnic lunch en route, time permitting, an afternoon nature walk to the Mau Mau Caves located in the Mount Kenya forest. Dinner and overnight at the Bantu Lodge campsite. The drive takes 3 hours.

Day Two – MOUNT KENYA – SAMBURU G. RESERVE

Depart Mount Kenya for Samburu via the scenic surroundings with Picnic lunch en route. On arrival proceed on for an evening game drive . Dinner and overnight at the campsite. [2 hrs]

Day Three – SAMBURU G. RESERVE

Early morning game drives, return to the campsite for breakfast, after breakfast another game drive, return for lunch at the campsite, siesta at the campsite followed by an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day Four – SAMBURU G. RESERVE – LAKE NAKURU

7 Days MT Kenya

Day One :

Depart Nairobi at 8.30am for a drive of 3 hours towards Baringo, off load the bicycle on the way as cycle down to Lake Bogoria for 2 to hours with picnic lunch. A good chance to cycle around the Lake and see Flamingos and other water birds. Later driver to Lake Baringo for dinner and overnight at the Campsite or a Lodge.

Day Two :

Early morning wake up call, have a cup of coffee and start a ride down to Bogoria, the ride is early enough to be able to see the sunrise and also a good chance to see animals like Eland, Impala and other antelopes at Lake Bogoria National park. Cycle around the lake with picnic breakfast and later drive to the main highway to Eldoret and cycle down in to Kerio Valley and up the western walls of the valley with magnificent view of Lake Kamnarok and the valley. For those who will not have enough energy their bicycles will be loaded on to the van, which is always behind for any emergency and supplies. Your guide will show you the area where Kenya Marathon men and women come from (around ITEN and Eldoret), picnic lunch on the way, dinner and overnight at Sirikwa Hotel or a campsite in Eldoret.

Day Three :

After an early morning breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru National park, the drive takes 3 hours and will arrive in good time for lunch at the lodge or Campsite, the afternoon will be on game drive in the park. ( it is not possible to cycle on this day as the road from Eldoret to Nakuru has heavy with traffic). Lunch, dinner and overnight at the lodge or campsite.

Day Four :

Early morning game drive and after breakfast drive to Lake Naivasha, which is a drive one hour and take Moi south road for a ride on the western side of the lake on a rough road. The ride is very scenic with Mau hills and Mount Longonot to the south, picnic on the way, dinner and overnight at fisherman’s camp or a lodge.

Day Five :

After an early breakfast, cycle to Hell’s gate National Park and spend the morning in the park. Return to the campsite or lodge for lunch, afternoon will be free. Dinner and overnight as before.

Day Six :

After breakfast take a boat ride to Crescent Island and have a guided nature walk, later return to the campsite or Lodge for Lunch, thereafter drive to Nairobi to arrive by 16.00hrs.

Day One – NAIROBI – LAKE BARINGO

Depart Nairobi 09H00 and later descend to the floor of the Great Rift Valley, for Lake Baringo [lunch en route] arriving in the afternoon. This is a fresh water lake, which supports a great variety of birds as well as hippos and crocodiles. [An evening boat ride] Indeed the lake is reputed to be the bird-watching center of Kenya – overnight at Mrs. Robert’s Campsite.

Day Two – LAKE BARINGO – LAKE NAKURU

Day Three – AMBOSELI – LAKE NAIVASHA

Depart after breakfast leave Amboseli for Lake Naivasha National park. Picnic lunch en route. On arrival proceed for a nature walk at the Hell’s gate National Park; later proceed on to Fisherman’s camp for dinner and overnight.

Day Four – LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAI MARA

After breakfasts proceed for [1 hours] boat ride to view/study different bird life. There after proceed to Masai Mara with a stop over en route for picnic lunch. On arrival, you proceed on for a game drive in search for black manned lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, rhino and other plain game. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day Five – MASAI MARA

Early breakfast & depart the campsite with picnic lunch for full day game drives. The game drive extends to Mara River – hippo point where lunch is enjoyed. There after proceed on the game drive in search of many other plains game returning to the campsite by 6 p.m, dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day Six – MASAI MARA – NAIROBI

Early morning game drive then return for breakfast there after leave for Nairobi enjoying a picnic lunch arriving by 4 p.m.

Day One

Arrive Nairobi Airport, meet and greet and transfer to the Nairobi Serena Hotel or similar booked on Bed & Breakfast.

Day Two

NAIROBI – MOUNT KENYA

08H00, Depart Nairobi for Mount Kenya area of Central Part of Kenya. The drive is for 3 – 4 hours through the beautiful surroundings as you get into the Kikuyu Farmlands along the way where one can see pineapple and coffee plantations.  Upon arrival check into the Serena Mountain Lodge for lunch.  Here you will spend the better part of the afternoon viewing animals from the balcony of the Lodge. The Lodge has been built in front of a water hole that contains essential minerals & salts that the animals come to lick. In the night the activity of the animals is intensified & you’re able to view them with the help of powerful beam lights overlooking the waterhole.  Dinner & overnight at the Serena Mountain Lodge.

Day Three

MOUNT KENYA – SAMBURU GAME RESERVE

Depart Mount Kenya for Samburu Game Reserve situated at the Southern corner of Samburu district with game drive on the way. Samburu is generally a hot place with cool night’s temperatures between 18 – 30 degrees Celsius.  On arrival, check – in to the Samburu Serena Lodge for lunch & after a brief relaxation proceed on for an evening game drive. Samburu is rich in game with rare species found; Lions, Elephants, Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, Oryx, the Reticulated Giraffe and other plains game. Return to the Samburu Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day Four

SAMBURU G. RESERVE

Early morning game drives, return to the Lodge for breakfast, after breakfast another game drive, return for lunch at the Lodge.  Relax at the Lodge by the Poolside followed by an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day Five

SAMBURU G. RESERVE – SWEETWATERS GAME SACTUARY

Depart after breakfast for Sweetwater’s Game Sanctuary sandwiched between the Aberdares and Mount Kenya area. The Sanctuary is home to Resident Rhinos, Zebra, Impala & other game species. Arrive at the Sweetwater’s Lodge in time for lunch & proceed for an afternoon game drive & also visit the only Chimpanzee sanctuary found in the reserve and in the Country.  Dinner & overnight at the Lodge.

Day Six

SWEETWATERS G. SANCTUARY – LAKE NAIVASHA

Pre – breakfast game drive and afterwards depart for Lake Naivasha.  Arrive Naivasha and check into the Naivasha Sopa Lodge for lunch. Optional afternoon boat ride; this fresh water Lake abounds with Hippos and various Bird Life. Dinner and overnight Naivasha Sopa lodge.

Day Seven

LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

After breakfast make a drive of 5 Hours to Masai Mara via Narok Town. Arrive at the Mara Serena Lodge in time for lunch. The reserve is a jewel of Kenya’s wildlife areas and the most popular tourism destination in the world. After lunch proceed on for a game drive in search for Black manned Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalo, Rhino and other plains game.  Dinner and overnight at the Mara Serena Lodge.

Day Eight

MASAI MARA G. RESERVE

This day is spent game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Masai Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game that abound in plenty.  An optional visit to the Masai Village for a Cultural Learning experience.  All meals at the Mara Serena Lodge.

Day Nine

MASAI MARA – NAIROBI

After breakfast depart for Nairobi & arriving in the afternoon. Lunch on this day is not included. Drop off at the Nairobi Airport for International Flight Home.

Arrive Nairobi Airport, meet and greet and transfer to the Norfolk Hotel or similar booked on bed & breakfast.

Day Two

NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK 06H00

Pick up from the Hotel and transfer to the Wilson Airport for morning Flight departing to Amboseli National Park by Air Kenya Express at 07H30. Arrive in Amboseli at 08H10, meet by your driver guide and proceed for an morning game drive. Amboseli is mainly hot and dry and is situated in the rain shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. Afterwards check into the Tortilis Luxury Camp or similar in time for lunch. Afternoon relaxation by the pool; afterwards proceed on for an evening game drive which provides a chance to see Elephants, Lions, Buffalo, Hippos, a wide variety of Bird Life and many other plains game, dinner and overnight at the Tortilis Luxury Tented Camp or similar

Day Three

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Early morning game drive when Mt. Kilimanjaro usually appears from its mantle of clouds, return for breakfast and proceed on for another game drive, lunch followed by a siesta and an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the Tortilis Luxury Tented Camp.

Day Four

AMBOSELI N. PARK – SAMBURU GAME RESERVE

After breakfast drive to the Airstrip and board an Air Kenya Express Flight to Nairobi departing at 08H20. Arrive Nairobi at 09H00 and immediately connect with a Flight to Samburu departing at 09H15 arriving at 10H30. Meet and greet by your driver guide and afterwards proceed for a mid morning game drive. Samburu Game Reserve is situated at the Southern corner of Samburu district in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya.

Samburu is generally a hot place with cool nights temperatures between 18 – 30 degrees C. Afterwards check into the Larsen’s Luxury Tented Camp for lunch. Afternoon relaxation and afterwards proceed on for an evening game drive. Samburu is rich in game with rare species found; Lions, Elephants, Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, Oryx, the Reticulated Giraffe and other plains game. Return to the Larsen’s Luxury Tented Camp Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day Five

SAMBURU GAME RESERVE

Early morning game drives, return for breakfast, after breakfast another game drive, return for lunch at the Luxury Camp. Afternoon relaxation by the Poolside followed by an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the Larsen’s Luxury Tented Camp Lodge.

Day Six

SAMBURU G. RESERVE – MASAI MARA

After breakfast proceed to the Samburu Airstrip for a morning Flight to Masai Mara departing at 09H15 arriving at the Musiara Airstrip at 10H45. Meet and greet by your driver guide and proceed for a mid morning game drive. Check into the Karen Blixen Camp for lunch.

Masai Mara is located in the Great Rift Valley primarily on open grasslands. The reserve is a jewel of Kenya’s wildlife areas. Wildlife tends to be concentrated on the Western Part of the Reserve where this Lodge is situated. After lunch proceed on for a game drive in search for Black manned Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalo, Rhino and other plains game.  Dinner and overnight at the Karen Blixen Luxury Camp.

Day Seven

MASAI MARA G. RESERVE

This day is spent game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Masai Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game that abound in plenty. After breakfast, transfer to the Musiara Airstrip for a morning Flight with Air Kenya departing at 10H00 and arrive Nairobi 10H45. Meet at the Wilson Airport and transfer to Nairobi Airport for International Flight Home.

NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park via Namanga on the Kenya / Tanzania border. The drive takes about 4.5 Hours.

The Park is located on the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the weather being hot and dry for most of the year though the Park experiences seasonal rains. Arrive in time for lunch at theAmboseli Sopa Lodge and proceed on for an afternoon game drive which provides a chance to see Elephants, Lions, Buffalo, Hippos, a wide variety of Bird Life and many other plains game, dinner and overnight at the Sopa Lodge.

Day Three

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Early morning game drive when Mt. Kilimanjaro usually appears from its mantle of clouds with a good chance to take pictures of the Mountain with Wildlife at the background, return for lunch followed by an afternoon siesta; Later proceed for an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the Sopa Lodge.

Day Four

AMBOSELI N. PARK – LAKE NAIVASHA SOPA LODGE

08H00, Depart after breakfast for Lake Naivasha via Nairobi and arrive at the Naivasha Sopa Lodge for lunch. Optional afternoon boat ride; this fresh water Lake abounds with Hippos and various Bird Life. Dinner and overnight at the Naivasha Sopa lodge.
