Day One

Arrive Nairobi Airport, meet and greet and transfer to the Nairobi Panafric Hotel or similar booked on Bed & Breakfast.

Day Two

NAIROBI – SHABA NATIONAL RESERVE

07H00, Depart Nairobi for the Shaba National Reserve. The reserve is found on the Northern Frontier with temperatures ranging from 20 – 30 degrees C and it borders the Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive at the Sarova Shaba Lodge for lunch. Afternoon relaxation by the poolside followed by an evening game drive.

The reserve is home to various forms of wildlife including some rare species like the Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich, Gerenuk not easily found in other parts of Kenya. It is home to most of the Big Five. Dinner and overnight at the Sarova Shaba Lodge.

Day Three

SHABA NATIONAL RESERVE

Early morning game drive, return to the Lodge for lunch. Relax at the Lodge by the Poolside followed by an evening game drive, dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day Four

SHABA N. RESERVE – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Depart after breakfast past the northern tip of the Aberdare Mountains to descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. This is a shallow strongly alkaline lake set in a picturesque landscape of surrounding woodland and grassland and is home to thousands of Flamingoes, Buffalo, Lions, Zebra, Giraffe, other animal & Bird Species. Arrive at Lion Hill Lodgefor lunch and after a short rest proceed on for an evening game drive and afterwards return for dinner and overnight at the Lion Hill Lodge.

Day Five

LAKE NAKURU N. PARK – MASAI

After breakfast proceed to Masai Mara. Arrive at the Mara Sarova Luxury Tented Camp in time for lunch. The reserve is a jewel of Kenya’s wildlife areas and the most popular tourism destination in the world. After lunch proceed on for a game drive in search for Black manned Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalo, Rhino and other plains game.  Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sarova Luxury Tented Camp.

Day Six

MASAI MARA G. RESERVE

This day is spent game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Masai Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game that abound in plenty.  An optional visit to the Masai Village for a Cultural Learning experience. All meals at the Mara Sarova Luxury Tented Camp.

Day Seven

MASAI MARA – NAIROBI

After breakfast depart for Nairobi & arriving in the afternoon. Lunch on this day is not included. Drop off at the Nairobi Airport for International Flight Home.

Day One

Depart Nairobi passing via Longonot and Suswa Volcanoes en route to Narok. Picnic lunch and thereafter head to Barakitabu arriving approximately 14h00. After briefly relaxing, your guide will take you for an afternoon trek onto the plains taking about the environs and the people, flora & fauna. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day Two

Breakfast and head off into the hills for a walk viewing the flora & fauna, the landscape is unique and you will certainly enjoy this natural walk. Picnic lunch & a visit to a Masai Homestead.

Day Three

Today’s walk across the vast plains to Siana, where you will have a picnic lunch & vehicle transfer to the SPURWING CAMPSITE – Your overnight campsite for 2 nights. Your walk may allow you to experience the presence of different plains game, the feeling of freedom and relaxation as you see, smell and hear the African veldt on foot. Late afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve- possibly the finest game viewing area anywhere with plains that stretch forever and tremendous variety and numbers of game. These plains are the northern part of the Serengeti and home to the annual migration of wildebeests and zebra [July-October]. Return to camp before sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day Four

An early morning walk; enjoy the morning news as seen in the sand. Thereafter breakfast and a choice of a morning’s game drive or walk in the hills, or a full day game viewing. Return before sunset after a day of great view and viewing. Dinner and overnight, SPURWING CAMPSITE

Day Five

Early mornings walk or game drive and a late breakfast before returning to Nairobi with Picnic lunch en-route.

Day One – NAIROBI – AMBOSELI

08H30 Depart Nairobi for Amboseli game reserve via Namanga on the Tanzania border. Picnic lunch en route, on arrival& time permitting, you proceed on for an afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day Two – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Early morning game drive when Mt. Kilimanjaro usually appears from its mantle of clouds, return for breakfast and proceed on for another game drive, lunch followed by a siesta and an afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day Three – AMBOSELI N. PARK – TSAVO

06H30, after breakfast depart Amboseli for Tsavo West National Park crossing the dramatic lava flow at the park boundary, picnic lunch followed by a game drive in this Kenya’s largest park, noted especially for its enormous elephants population. Visit Mzima Springs – an Oasis where hippo and crocodile can be seen. Dinner and overnight at the campsite located at the Main gate.

Day Four – TSAVO N PARK

Breakfast and depart for a morning game drive, there after return for lunch. Afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at the Aruba Campsite.

Day Five – TSAVO N PARK – NAIROBI

Early morning game drives, there after break up camp and drive back to Nairobi with picnic lunch to arrive by 4.00 p.m.

Day One – NAIROBI – LAKE NAKURU

08H30. Depart Nairobi for Lake Nakuru Park, picnic lunch en route followed by an afternoon game drive in this park described as the world’s birds spectacle. You will see thousands of flamingos & other birds. Animals like waterbuck, buffalo’s, lion and the rhinos are commonly seen here. Dinner and overnight in a hostel located inside the park.

Day Two – LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA

Depart after breakfast and proceed on to Masai Mara. Picnic lunch en route. On arrival in Masai Mara, proceed on for an afternoon game drive in search the black manned lion, elephants, leopard, leopard, cheetah, buffalo and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day Three – MASAI MARA

Full day game drives exploring wildlife with picnic lunch, dinner and overnight at the Spurwing basic campsite.

Day Four – MASAI MARA

Another full day in Masai Mara exploring wildlife, all meals at the campsite.

Day Five – MASAI MARA –NAIROBI

Early morning game drive after breakfast return to the campsite and prepare to depart back to Nairobi enjoying a picnic lunch en route arriving by 4 p.m.

Day One

08H30. Depart Nairobi for Lake Nakuru Park, picnic lunch en route followed by an afternoon game drive in this park described as the world’s birds spectacle. You will see thousands of the pink flamingos and many other types of birds. Waterbuck, buffalo’s, lions & the rhinos are commonly seen here. Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse or hostel located inside the park.

Day Two

LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA

Depart after breakfast and proceed on to Masai Mara.  Picnic lunch en route.  On arrival in Masai Mara, proceed on for an afternoon game drive in search the black manned lion, elephants, leopard, leopard, cheetah, buffalo and other plains game.  Dinner and overnight at the Spurwing campsite located around the Sekenani area.

Day Three

MASAI MARA

Full day game drives exploring these vast plains game reserve, lunch by the hippo pool, return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day Four

MASAI MARA

An optional morning game drive, after breakfast proceed on back to Nairobi with picnic lunch & stop over for panoramic view of the Great Rift Valley to arrive by 4p.m.

Day One

08H00 – Depart Nairobi for Mount Longonot with picnic lunch. This jagged Mountain is an extinct volcano and crater forest with a scenic landscape. The sides of the Mountain have beautiful V-shaped valleys and ridges. Climb the Mountain for 3 – 4 Hours and afterwards depart for Lake Naivasha Camp Carnellys.  Afternoon at Leisure, dinner and overnight at the Campsite.

Day Two

LAKE NAKURU DAY TRIP

After early breakfast depart Lake Naivasha for Lake Nakuru National Park.  Arrive in time for a full morning game drive. Lake Nakuru is a shallow strongly alkaline lake set in a picturesque landscape of surrounding woodland and grassland and is home to thousands of Flamingoes, Buffalo, Lions, Zebra, Giraffe & other animal & Bird Species. Picnic lunch in the Park and an afternoon game drive.  Afterwards proceed on and return to Camp Carnellys for dinner and overnight.

Day Three

HELLS GATE + CRESCENT ISLAND VISIT

Early rise and after breakfast hire Bicycles and ride in this Park which is a haven for ornithologists and rock climbers; the cliffs of Hells’ Gate are breeding grounds for Vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, Augur Buzzard and thousands of Swifts and other species of birds. Special Locations to view include Fischer’s Tower, formerly a Volcano Plug, the Central Tower and Njorowa Gorges. Natural steam vents rise from fissures in the volcanic rock. Ride back to Camp Carnellys for lunch. After lunch drive to Crescent Island and have a walk.  01 hour Boat ride on this fresh water Lake that supports dense vegetation, which in turn supports a thriving bird population. Drive back to Camp Carnellys for dinner and overnight.

Day Four

LAKE NAIVASHA – KIAMBETHU TEA FARM – NAIROBI

Breakfast at leisure. Afterwards depart for Kiambethu Tea Farm. This has been the family home of one earliest tea growers in Kenya amidst colorful gardens. A cup of tea or coffee on arrival while the process of making tea is informally explained. This is followed by an opportunity to see tea in the field. Take a walk in indigenous forest with a resident guide, watch the Columbus monkeys close up and wander in the gardens, which are a home to a wide variety of birds. Return to the house to enjoy a pre-lunch drink while noticing the sweeping views across the tea fields to the Ngong Hills. Lunch is served with vegetables directly taken from the farm. Afterwards depart for Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon.

Day One

08H30. Depart your hotel and drive through the beautiful landscape of the Kikuyu farmlands before descending to the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley past the extinct volcanoes of Longonot and Suswa, to Narok for picnic lunch. After lunch continue across the Loita Plains pasts occupied and abandoned manyattas [the nomadic Masai villages built out of the bent poles and plastered with cow dung On arrival in Masai Mara proceed on for a game drive, dinner and overnight at our campsite. [Approx 5 hours drive]

Day Two

MASAI MARA

A full day is spent game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills.  The famous Masai Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game, black manned lion, leopard, cheetah & elephants.  All meals at the campsite.

Day Three

MASAI MARA/NAIROBI

Early morning game drive, return to the campsite for breakfast and leave for Nairobi enjoying a picnic lunch en route to arrive by 4 p.m.

Although the Mara is a National Reserve, the land belongs to the Masai, a tribe of paternalists whose livestock have traditionally co-existed with the migration herds of East Africa Plains game.

Day One

08H30 Depart Nairobi for Amboseli game reserve via Namanga on the Tanzania border. Picnic lunch en route, time permitting check in at the campsite and proceed on for an afternoon game drive which provides a chance to see elephants, lions and many other plains game, dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day Two

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

06H30   Early morning game drive, return for breakfast and proceed on for further game drive, lunch and an afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at campsite.

Day Three

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK / NAIROBI

Morning game drive after breakfast proceed on back to Nairobi enjoying picnic lunch en route to arrive Nairobi by 4.00 p.m.

Day One

Depart Nairobi at 8.00 am and drive to Mount Kenya area via Nanyuki town. After picking up the porters and your guide proceed to Sirimon gate on the North West of the mountain. Picnic lunch will be provided and there after make a 3 hours walk to Old Moses Hut 3300m for dinner and overnight.

Day Two

Early morning breakfast and there after start the walk to Shipton camp. The walk takes 6-7 hours with a scenic view of the peak Nelion and Batian through Mackinders Valley. Arrive Shiptons camp 4200m in the early afternoon for a short rest followed by dinner and overnight. Picnic lunch will be served enroute.

Day Three

After breakfast, make an anti-clockwise summit circuit of the peaks via Kami Hut at Hausburg col to Mackinder’s camp 4200m. The walk takes 4-5 hours. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Mackinder’s camp.

Day Four

Hike to Austrian Hut 4700m for 2 hours and spend the afternoon scouting the area and pre-paring for the summit of Nelion and Batian. If you wish you can hike up to Point Lenana.

Day Five

Early morning at 5 a.m start the walk to the stem of the peaks and start the rock climb to Nelion and Batian and might be spend the night at Howell Hut

Day Six

This day you descend to Austrian Hut for the night. Other wise the day if reserved incase the weather is bad and you have to delay by day.

Day Seven

Descend to Met Station 3300m via Mackinder’s camp for the night.

Day Eight

Descend further to Naro Moru Park gate to meet with vehicle transfer to Nairobi.
