Day One

Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport by a Guide who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities.  After a short transfer to your hotel (45min – 1 hour drive) you will be briefed about you safari. Day Two

Early morning begin the panoramic drive to Murchison Falls National park via the  Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.  Drive  to  Masindi Town for lunch and later drive  to Murchison Falls National Park. Time  allowing visit the top of the falls.  Overnight at either Paraa Safari Lodge for up market  accommodation, Sambiya River Lodge for medium range accommodation, or Red Chili Rest Camp for Low budget accommodation. Day Three

Early morning game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile.  Your guide will help you spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, Roth child’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard.  After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just few of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’, marvel at the toothsome hippos, home of  crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork.  After taking shorts of the photogenic Murchison Falls, return to your Lodge. Day Four

After your morning breakfast drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside and pass traditional homesteads and farms. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon.  The drive takes approximately 8 hours. Overnight at either Primate Lodge for up market accommodation, or Mountains of the Moon Hotel for mid range accommodation or Rwenzori View Guest House for Low budget accommodation. Day Five

After breakfast we visit Kibale Forest National Park, which is reputed to have the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The most famous of its 13 species is the Chimpanzee, our closest relative. Kibale 1450 Chimpanzee represent Uganda’s largest population of this endangered primate. Kibale is also a home to the rare I’Hoest’s monkey. Other primates include the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon to mention but a few. So you will enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and many others. After lunch go for Bigodi swamp walk. Day Six

After your morning breakfast, you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range. As you go through the game park you might spot some animals. After lunch enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos.  This launch/cruise offers and excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing.  The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident species. Overnight at either Kyambura Lodge for up market accommodation, or Ihamba Lodge for medium range or Albertine Rift Safari Camps for Low budget accommodation. Day Seven

Queen Elizabeth National Park¹s diverse eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife.  Have an early morning Game drive where you have an opportunity to view the massive Rwenzori as backdrop, which provides excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck. Later transfer to Ishasha sector where you will go for  another game drive in the evening in search of tree climbing lions. Over night at either Ishasha Wilderness Camp  for up market accommodation or Savannah Resort Hotel   for medium range accommodation. Early morning entry into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest the rainforest is spectacular, It offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal¹s trails allowing access to tourists.   Mammals recorded include the endangered Mt Gorilla, rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephant, black-fronted duiker, bushbuck, leopard, giant forest hog and others.  This park is best known for the fascinating gorillas. The thrill of spending time and observing the gorillas is a rare moving, awesome and exciting adventure. There is always a ranger guide to interpret the Fauna and the Flora. After breakfast transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, have a game drive as you enter the park. After lunch go for an evening boat cruise on L. Day Twelve

After breakfast, Leisurely drive back to Kampala, have a stop over at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time and take some photos, then another stop over at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers where you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through the generations arriving in the afternoon. Day One

Day Two

After an early morning breakfast, you will depart Kampala for Fort Portal arriving in time for lunch .In the afternoon relax at your hotel or visit the crater lakes area. Day Three

After Breakfast go for chimpanzee tracking.  You will also see and other primates including L’Hoest, red colobus, and blue red tailed and gray cheeked mangabey.  Enjoy the services of our ranger guide who will give you detailed information on primates, forest, flora and fauna. Later in the afternoon, you will have the opportunity of a guided walk through Bigodi Swamp. Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary is managed by the Kibale Association for Rural and Environmental organization formed in 1992 with the aim of achieving social and economic development for local communities. This swamp is a home to approximately 137 bird species and it is also rich in vegetation, such as wild palms, polita figs and the dominant papyrus.  There are a net-work of forest trails that radiate out from the visitor centre, allowing you to search for a number of species that shun the vicinity of the main road. Day Four

On this day after your morning breakfast you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range for most of the journey.  A game drive en-route may be rewarded by seeing a lot of wild animals such as elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, hyena and variety of antelope species.  After lunch, enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel which joins Lake Edward and Lake George.  You will see a lot of hippos and other animals may be seen drinking at water’s edge.  During this launch cruise you will have opportunity to take photographs, game viewing and bird watching with over 550 resident species of colorful birds for you to enjoy. Day One

In the morning, you will set off for Murchison falls National Park, making a stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to see the rhinos. Have lunch in Masindi town, and continue to Murchison Falls via the Top of the Falls where at a height of 43 meters you will view the thunderous waters of the Nile blasting against the rocks and collapsing in a spectacular fall. Over night at either Sambiya River lodge for mid range  accommodation  or Red Chilli Rest Camp for Low Budget accommodation. Day Two

Before day break you will go for an early game drive to see the early indolently grazing buffalos, elephants, Uganda kobs, giraffes, hartebeests, hyenas and hunting lionesses and leopards returning from their night hunt.  After lunch have a boat cruise to the base of the falls on the Victoria Nile, were you will sight elephants, hippos, buffalos, crocodiles and so many birds such as the Kingfishers.  Over night at either Sambiya River lodge for mid range  accommodation  or Red Chilli Rest Camp for Low Budget accommodation. After breakfast set out on an 8 hours drive to Kibale National Park in Fort Portal; driving past the overlapping hills with beautifully terraced farms and homesteads. Day Four

Today after breakfast you will go to Kibale National Park head office for a briefing before proceeding in the wild for a chimpanzee tracking. You will trek across the park guided by rangers who will not only detail you about the Chimpanzee’s lifestyle but also the flora and fauna of the vegetation.  You will be chanced to observe the way these chimpanzees care for their young, feed and move. You will then drive to the bottom of Mountain Rwenzori into Queen Elizabeth National Park. Over night at Bush Lodge for mid range  accommodation or Institute of Ecology for Low Budget accommodation. Day Five

Before 6:00 am, you will have breakfast and then embark on an early game drive in the park. Return to the lodge for a hearty lunch before setting out on an exciting boat ride on the Kazinga Channel which joins both Lake George and Edward. Here you will have a stunning experience viewing of over 500 different species of birds grazing on the shore, buffalos dallying in the shallow waters and hippos puff and spew just meters away from your boat. . Over night at Bush Lodge for mid range  accommodation or Institute of Ecology for Low Budget accommodation. Day Six

Before day break you will start out on an enjoyable game drive looking out for the early indolently grazing buffalos, stripped jackals, elephants, Uganda kobs, giraffes, hyenas and hunting predators  returning from their night hunt such as lions, leopards. Then drive through the Ishasha zone of the park as you head to Bwindi Gorilla Park  arriving  in the evening. Day Seven

After breakfast you will have a briefing by the rangers in preparation for a long close to 2-6 hours tracking through the impenetrable forest, looking for the primates. This tedious and long trek will pay off well because you will be able to come face to face with these Gorillas and discover more about their feeding habits, how they cater for their young and understand their moving patterns.  You will then preceed to Lake Bunyonyi Kabale .Over night  at Arcadia Cottages for Mid range accommodation  or Bunyonyi Overland Camp for Low budget accommodation. Day Eight

After breakfast drive back to Kampala, Uganda’s capital. Have lunch in one of the towns on your way back.  Stop at the Equator for some photographs, later arriving Kampala in the evening.

Early morning  you will enter deep into the fresh and thick Bwindi the Mountain Gorilla sanctuary. After an informative briefing by the guide, you will walk into the impenetrable forest in search for the endangered gorillas, commonly known as Apes. You will also be able to see chimpanzees, black-and-white colobus monkeys and red tail monkeys. Today, as part of the Chimp tracking, you will join the training team that studies the behavior of these primates with an aim of making them get acquitted to humans( extra $220 per person).. Day Three

After breakfast, you will depart Kibale and then head for Queen Elizabeth National Park having a game drive while entering the park arriving in the afternoon. Relax around the pool after lunch and later go for an early evening game drive.  Its little wonder that Queen Elizabeth boast one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the world, – from the open Savannah to Rain Forest, dense Papyrus Swamps and brooding Crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward.

Almost 100 mammal species that include Lions, Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, Elephants and the elusive Giant Forest Hog plus remarkable 606 bird species that include the Black Chested Eagle, the Swallow Tailed Bee Eaters, to mention but a few.

The Primates include Chimps, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Blue, Black Faced Red Colobus, and Red Tailed monkeys and Olive Baboons. Reptiles are the amazing huge Rock-Python, Puff adders, Spitting Cobras, Gabon Rippers, Green Mambas, and Turtles etc. All these are regularly sighted around the tourist village on the Mweya Peninsula and all this makes a superb safari territory. Following breakfast, set off for a sight filled journey seeing various kinds of wildlife and finally arrive in Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon.  Rest and have lunch by the pool side before embarking on an evening game drive.  Queen Elizabeth National Park also prides in its varying landscapes ranging from the open Savannah, Rain Forests, the impenetrable Papyrus Swamps, with crater later lakes and most of all the magnificent Lake Edward.

Among the inhabitant of the Park are:
-Primates which include Chimpanzees, Olive Baboons, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Red Tailed monkey, Red Colobus and the Black and white Colobus monkeys;
-Various animal species like lions, elephants, leopards, spotted hyenas and hippopotami;
-More than 300 species of birds such as Black Chested Eagle, the Swallow Tailed Bee Eaters,
-Reptiles such as amazing huge Rock-Python, Puff adders, Spitting Cobras, Gabon Rippers and the Green Mambas. And all these are often seen around the Mweya cape which is the “tourist village”.

Day Four

Early morning Chimp tracking in Kyambura gorge. In the afternoon  you will go for a boat tour on the Kazinga Channel were you will see buffalos dallying in the shallow waters, hippos puff and spew just meters away from your boat and so many beautiful birds on the shores. Also the Open-Billed Stork, Long-Tailed Cormorants, Pied Kingfishers, Malachite and the African Jacana are also seen now and again.Over night at Bush lodge mid range  accommodation or Institute of Ecology  for Low budget accommodation. Day Five

After breakfast, you will enjoy a game drive as you head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is a popularly know sanctuary for Mountain Gorillas and various bird species that graze in Mountane Forest.  It also has 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemics including the African Green Broadbill, Bar Tailed Trogon and other beautiful forest species.
There will be an optional nature trek to the Munyaga waterfalls were you will spot various primates linger by the falls. Over night at Gorilla Safari Lodge for mid range accommodation or at the Camp site in Bwindi. FB

Day Six

Earlier than usual you will set off for an exciting 2+- 6 hours Mountain Gorilla Tracking in the jungle, carrying along your lunch boxes and equipment to use in tracking the unusual Mountain Gorilla; for which there are only 650 remaining all over the world. In the presence of park guides who will interpret the Flora and Fauna of the vegetation and the lifestyle of the Gorillas, you will have quite a thrilling experience.  After a picnic lunch, a visit the Batwa People who are the natives of this area and get the opportunity to see their traditional crafts and enjoy their dances. Day Seven

After breakfast you will drive through the Switzerland of Uganda- Kabale which has a very artistic sight presented by the terraced farms on its hills and in the afternoon arrive at Lake Mburo National Park.  Being an extension of the Tanzanian Plains, Lake Mburo is habitat to Zebras, Impala and Eland, and boasts of various species of birds like the African Fin Foot; its landscape dotted with papyrus and Bush Shrike. After lunch, have an optional boat trip or unwind in your cool rooms. Have an evening game drive. Over night at  Mburo Safari lodge for mid range accommodation or UWA Bandas for Low budget accommodation. FB

Day Eight

After your breakfast you will enjoy a game drive before heading to Kampala through Entebbe. On your way you will see the Royal drum makers, stand at the Equator which divides the earth into two hemispheres.  Over night  at Boma Guest house  for mid range accommodation or Central Inn for Low Budget accommodation.  Bed and Breakfast

Day Nine

At around 9:00 am you will set off from Entebbe dock for a boat ride to Ngamba Island which was specifically set up as a home for orphaned chimps, and later return in the evening. Day Ten

After breakfast you will be driven to Entebbe International for your flight back home.
