THINGS TO KNOW

When you get to camp boil water for drinks while you assemble the ingredients for the main meal. Tired, cold, hungry and thirsty cooks and hikers are the most likely to make mistakes. When de-hydrating vegetables use hot water. Powdered milk mixes with other ingredients best after it has been made into a paste.
